Freddy Krueger returns once again to haunt both the dreams of his daughter and Springwood's last surviving teenager.
Freddy Krueger: Kung fu THIS, bitch. Tracy: This is my dream, and I do what I want. Freddy Krueger: Might be your dream, but it's my RULES!
[Freddy is dressed as The Wicked Witch of the West and is riding a broom] Freddy Krueger: I'll get you, my pretty! And your little soul, too!
Freddy Krueger: No screaming while the bus is in motion.
Freddy Krueger: I didn't need a glove to kill your bitch of a mother, and I don't need one now!
Oprah Noodlemantra: All right. Once again. This is your brain. [Cracks egg] Oprah Noodlemantra: This is your brain on drugs. Questions? [Freddy hits him with the frying pan] Freddy Krueger: Yeah! What are you on? Looks like a frying pan and some eggs to me.
Freddy's Father: You been a waste since the day I took you in. Now it's time to take your medicine. [whips Freddy with a belt] Young Freddy: [laughs as the belt strikes him] Thank you, sir. May I have another? [his father whips him four more times, but before he can do it the fifth time, Freddy grabs the belt] Young Freddy: You wanna know the secret of pain? If you just stop feeling it, you can start using it. [holds up a bloody razor blade]
Tracy's Father: No honey for daddy? [Morphs into Freddy Krueger] Freddy Krueger: What's with kids today, huh? No respect. Tracy: You can't scare me anymore. Freddy Krueger: Oh, you better speak up. Must be my deaf ear. [jingles Carlos' ear]
John Doe: I'm afraid of heights. Woman in Plane: Don't be a pussy.
John Doe: [to Maggie] Look, do you have any, um... caffeine pills or coffee? Maybe some coke? I meant the soda.
Freddy Krueger: Daddy's waiting for you, little girl. Tracy: Shut the fuck up man! [kicks Freddy in the balls]
Freddy Krueger: Time to start all over again. Maggie Burroughs: But this isn't Springwood. Freddy Krueger: [laughs] Every town has an Elm Street!
John Doe: I know why you let me go. Freddy Krueger: Ohh. Do you think *I'm* your daddy? Mm-mm! Wrong! [Freddy begins slicing at John's parachute line] John Doe: But you let me live. Freddy Krueger: Only long enough for to bring me back my daughter. John Doe: Your daughter? Freddy Krueger: [begins slicing away at other parachute line] And now, she's gonna take me to a whole new playground. John Doe: No! Freddy Krueger: [chops away at last line] Grounded!
Freddy Krueger: Hey! You forgot the power glove.
Carlos' Mother: Maybe you don't hear so good. Maybe I clean out your ears for you. [she shows Carlos a giant cotton swab] Carlos: No, no. Mama, please, I've been a good boy. You don't understand. I've been good, mama! Please, don't make me deaf, mama! Please! I'm sorry! [she morphs into Freddy] Freddy Krueger: I'm not. Ha ha ha! [Freddy sticks the giant cotton swab into Carlos' ear and it goes through his other ear, Carlos pulls it out] Freddy Krueger: Oh, Carlos. Lend me your ear. [Freddy cuts off Carlos' ear]
John Doe: [talking about Spencers dream with Freddy] I have to go in. Tracy: What about Freddy? John Doe: Freddy won't hurt me, I'm family. Tracy: Ok, so how you gonna go in? John Doe: [picks up broken table leg] You're gonna have to lay me out. Tracy: [grabs it] What? Wha... John Doe: C'mon just fucking lay me out! Tracy: Wait a second, Doc told me a different way. All you gotta do... John Doe: There's no time to talk! Just do it! [slaps her] Tracy: [Tracy immediately belts him and knocks him into a dream] John Doe: [after orienting himself] Jesus Christ. Tracy: [five seconds later, Tracy materializes in the dream] I told you I knew an easier way. Concentration. Meditation. That's what Doc always says. [John just stares at her] Tracy: This place is incredible.
Freddy Krueger: Now be a good little doggy and go fetch!
Doc: You're getting ready to kill somebody. Tracy: *Defend* myself. Doc: It's your mind he'll go for. Your fear.
[last lines] Maggie Burroughs: Freddy's dead.
Spencer's Father: Be like me. [Fells Spencer] Spencer's Father: Be like me, be like me. Freddy Krueger: Father knows best. [after grabbing the tennis racket and while hitting him with it] Spencer: I'm not like you! I don't wanna be like you! Not like you!
Freddy Krueger: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but nothing will ever kill me. Well, let's see now. First, they tried burning me. [slices off thumb] Freddy Krueger: Then they tried burying me. [slices off index finger] Freddy Krueger: But this... this is my favorite. Freddy Krueger: [gives a finger gesture] They even tried holy water! Freddy Krueger: [slices off middle finger, drops hand out of frame and holds it up again with all fingers intact] But I just keep on tickin'... because they promised me that. Doc: They? Freddy Krueger: The dream people. The ones that gave me this job. In dreams... I am forever! Too bad you're not.
Tracy: Carlos! I asked you for the map. Carlos: [wakes up] Huh? What? Yeah, well, the map says we're fucked.

Maggie Burroughs: [looks at a poster] This is new. Doc: You like it? These are ancient dream demons. Supposedly they roam the dreams of the living till they find the most evil, twisted human imaginable. Then they give him the power to cross the line and turn our nightmares into reality.
Freddy Krueger: [after having finished a game and beaten Spencer] I beat my high score... Hahahahahahaha!
John Doe: 4567 bottles of beer on the wall, 4567 bottles of beer, if one of those bottles should happen to fall, what a case of i... [is hit with a pillow] Angry Boy: Hell, I'll break a bottle over your head if you don't shut the fuck up! John Doe: [glares] ... 4566 bottles of beer on the wall...
Freddy Krueger: [while playing a video game] Hmmm... great graphics.
Dream Demon 1: Freddy, we know what you want. Freddy Krueger: I want it all! Dream Demon 1: Of course you do. Dream Demon 2: Then open up. Dream Demon 1: And you shall be forever!
Doc: Now he's gonna try and trick you just like he tricked Tracy. He'll try and use your eyes to fool you. You'll use these. [shows her 3D glasses] Maggie Burroughs: Get the hell outta here. Doc: You want to live? These mean nothing here, but in a dream, they can be anything you want. He got inside your head. You get inside of his. Maggie Burroughs: That's my job, isn't it? Tracy: Be careful. He's good at finding out what hurts the most. Doc: Exactly. Tracy: That's why you gotta take me with you. Maggie Burroughs: I can't. It's gotta be me and him. All right, Doc. Put me in.
Springwood Teacher: Here's a crucial point! Anybody know what I'm getting at? Anybody? C'mon people! We covered this! [jabs time line on chalkboard with pointer] Springwood Teacher: This is where they took away his child! John Doe: What child? Springwood Teacher: Taken away, put in a town orphanage. John Doe: [to Maggie] Freddy had a kid. Freddy had a kid! [John and Maggie leave quickly] Springwood Teacher: [to empty classroom again] Fourteen hundred and ninety four: Freddy came back... to look... for more...
Tracy: [as they're looking through all the confiscated weapons for the final fight with Freddy, Tracy pulls out a big knife] Whoa! Look at this knife! Doc: Hey, put that away. Maggie Burroughs: That's too small. [she pulls out a big club with spikes on the end of it] Tracy: Guess so.
John Doe: [looks at a child's drawing] "K. Krueger." Could mean anything from Kevin to Kyle. Maggie Burroughs: All it really means is there was a child here by that name. John Doe: No. It's me. I'm his kid. That's why he's kept me alive. He's trying to play some sick game with me. Maggie Burroughs: *He* is dead, all right. He's dead, and your not his kid. John Doe: How do you know? [points at Orphanage Woman] John Doe: She remembered me. Maggie Burroughs: She remembered me, too, and 50 other imaginary friends. Let's get out of here.
Freddy Krueger: Go ahead... put it on. It's in your blood. That's it. Put it on. Feels good, doesn't it? Yeah... come on. Let your daddy show you how to use it. [Maggie slips on the glove and stabs Freddy in his stomach] Tracy: Maggie! Maggie! [Tracy tosses her a stick of dynamite and Maggie shoves it into Freddy's chest. She kisses Freddy on the cheek] Maggie Burroughs: Happy Father's Day. [runs out of the room] Freddy Krueger: [looks at the screen] Oh... Kids. [Freddy explodes]
Freddy Krueger: You're my blood. Only you could've brought me out - in your mind.

Childless Woman: [spots Tracy, Spencer and Carlos] Oh, what beautiful adorable children! [leans close to Carlos] Childless Woman: Would you like to come live with us? It's been so long since we've had children in the house. So long... Childless Woman: [pinching all their cheeks and hugging them] This time I swear it'll be different. This time I'll be careful and I'll hide you better so that he'll never find you. [pretends to pull Tracy's nose off] Childless Woman: Lookie, I got your nose! Lookie! Childless Man: Ethel! [pulls her away] Childless Woman: I want my children back! Childless Man: You know they bring HIM! Childless Man: [bell at the school starts to sound] Now see what you done did!
Spencer: [after eating an apple in the dream video game] Super Spencer!
Freddy Krueger: [playing a video game and watching a character get hit] Now I'm playing with power!
John Doe: [Spencer is being violently attacked by Freddy in a dream] I'll go into his dream, I'll try and bring him out before he gets killed. Maggie Burroughs: That's crazy. [Spencer suddenly flies to his feet, launches into the ceiling and gets his head stuck] John Doe: Well, what do you call that? Rational?
Maggie Burroughs: They caught one of your star pupils beating up on one of our kids again. Doc: Tracy? Maggie Burroughs: Thought you said you were making progress. Doc: I only get twenty three minutes a week with these kids. With that kind of attention, [grins] Doc: be lucky she didn't kill him. Maggie Burroughs: [laughs] That's a good attitude for a therapist!
Tracy: No one remembers John or Carlos. It's like they never existed. I've been hearing strange shit. Like some of the kids are dreaming about Carlos. And they don't even remember him. Doc: I remember him. Tracy: Why? Doc: Because I can control my dreams. I'm not fooled by this thing you saw. Maggie Burroughs: Freddy. Doc: Whatever he is, he's fucking with the line between dreams and reality. He didn't just kill Carlos and the others. He erased them.

Freddy Krueger: [to John] This is your wake up call, sunny boy!
Freddy Krueger: Johnny. Up here.
Freddy Krueger: [after absorbing the dead John] You forgot where you came from, kid... but I know where you're going. [cut to a Springwood sign: "Population 7742" - it is crossed out and replaced with "7741"]
Orphanage Woman: [Rocks imaginary kid on rocking horse] There you go. Clippety, clop. Clippety, clop. Isn't that fun?
Freddy Krueger: One ticket... round trip. Hurry up, boy. You don't wanna miss the bus.
John Doe: Not again. He's not gonna get me again. Nothing is gonna make get off this bed. [bedroom catches fire] John Doe: Damn it! I hate this house.
John Doe: Free me, you idiot! I'm your fucking memory!
